Mission Statement:

Hueman Writers, Ltd. is devoted to amplifying the voices and stories of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). Our publishing company is dedicated to inspiring and empowering Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) to share their unique stories and perspectives through writing and other forms of media. Our mission is to create a platform that centers and uplifts diverse voices, perspectives, and experiences that have historically been marginalized in the publishing industry. We also aim to create a platform that encourages and supports BIPOC individuals to become authors, screenwriters, and playwrights.

We believe that representation matters, and that by showcasing a wide range of BIPOC voices, we can promote understanding, empathy, and inclusivity in our communities. We strive to publish books that challenge dominant narratives and expand the boundaries of what is possible, while also providing a sense of belonging and validation to BIPOC readers. We believe that everyone has a story worth sharing, and that BIPOC voices are essential to creating a more inclusive and diverse media landscape. Through our work, we aim to provide resources, mentorship, and guidance to BIPOC creators who are seeking to develop their skills and build their careers.

Through our work, we seek to empower BIPOC authors, illustrators, and creators by providing a supportive and inclusive publishing experience. We are committed to nurturing emerging talent, and to providing opportunities for established authors to continue to grow and thrive. We strive to create an inclusive and welcoming community that fosters creativity, collaboration, and growth. By connecting aspiring BIPOC writers with experienced mentors and industry professionals, we hope to break down the barriers that have traditionally made it difficult for marginalized voices to be heard in the publishing and media industries.

Ultimately, our goal is to create a world where BIPOC stories and voices are celebrated, valued, and heard. Hueman Writers, Ltd., will continuously strive to create a media landscape that reflects the full range of human experiences, and to provide BIPOC writers and creators with the tools and resources they need to succeed. We believe that by empowering BIPOC individuals to tell their own stories, we can contribute to a more just and equitable society for all.
